Newberry lost the South Atlantic Conference opener to No. 18 Queens 104-86 on Nov. 22.

Musah Sackor is currently second in the SAC in field goal percentage at 70.0 percent.

Newberry will look to defeat Warren Wilson, head coach Dave Davis’ alma mater, for the second consecutive season.

James Stepp leads Newberry with 14.8 points per game.

Seven Newberry players are currently averaging double-figure points per game. 

WARREN WILSON STORYLINES

Warren Wilson is 4-4 this sesaon and was defeated by fellow SAC member Mars Hill 107-80 on Nov. 19.

Michael Pomeroy is leading the Owls with 20.8 points per game. Devin Davis is averaging 11.0 points per game.

Warren Wilson attempts 26.3 three-point baskets per contest.

The Owls also shoot 77.9 percent from the free-throw line.
