JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The 12th-ranked Newberry College wrestling team won two of three matches on Saturday in the final day of the East Coast Duals at the Sports Center on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.

In the first match of the day, the Indians won a close 17-15 match over Shippensburg University.  After Shippensburg tied the team score at 12-12, Newberry's Kelly Anundson scored a huge victory in the 197-pound weight class, defeating Peter Grodziak by technical fall to secure the two-point victory for the Indians.

In the second match, Newberry was highlighted by two fall victories by Ernie Young and Brandon Kelly to earn the 30-15 victory over Gannon University. 

Newberry (13-5-1) will be back in action for the final time this season at Eleazer Arena on Thursday evening as they face-off against Belmont Abbey College.  Match time starts at 7:00 p.m.
