2014-15: Went 1-8 in redshirt unattached year... 

Prior to Newberry: Four-year varsity starter and three-year captain on the wrestling team... Was a state qualifier in his junior season... Won most takedowns trophy in junior and senior seasons, breaking the school record his senior year... Won his district and his 100th career match as a senior... Also was a linebacker and running back on the football team for four years...

Personal: Son of Kristie and John Vick, Jr.,.. Dad wrestled at Old Dominion... His older brother John III is attending Newberry College as well... Enjoys watching SportsCenter and his favorite movie is VisionQuest... His favorite band is AC/DC... Career ambition is to be a physical education teacher and wrestling coach...
