2016 - 

Honorable Mention all-South Atlantic Conference...

Played in 28 matches... Named South Atlantic Conference Specialist of the Week Oct. 18 and Oct. 25... Led the team with 1017 assists, averaging 10.17 per set... Recorded 272 digs... Posted 76 kills and 41 total blocks... Tallied 11 double-doubles and recorded double-digit digs in 11 matches... Recorded a career-high 58 assists vs. Mars Hill (9/30)... Posted a career-high 26 digs vs. Lincoln Memorial (11/18).

2015 -
Played in all 27 matches as a freshman… She led the team with 682 assists, averaging 6.89 per set… Recorded 233 digs… Logged 22 total blocks and 30 kills… Posted 12 double-doubles… Recorded double-digit digs in all 27 matches... Had a season high 42 assists vs. Belmont Abbey (9/5) and at Tusculum (9/18)... Posted a season-high 15 digs at Brevard College (10/31).


Prior to Newberry

Maggie Marsh is a 5-foot-11 setter from Wando HS in Charleston. She was named the 2014 4A Player of the Year by the South Carolina High School Coaches’ Association and also the Post and Courier State Player of the Year. She was a participant in the South Carolina Coaches Association of Women’s Sports (SCCAWS) North/South All-Star team for the 3A/4A South team and was also honored by the SCCAWS as a member of their All-State team after finishing the season leading the state in assists (1183) and ninth in blocks (114) on her way to a state title after finishing as state runner-up a season ago. 

She played two seasons on the Wando varsity squad and was the floor captain for the 2014 season. In 2013 she received an invite to attend the USA High Performance Youth National A2 Invitational Team Program and served as an alternate for the USA Continental Team.  She was bestowed MVP honors at the A5 Southern Volleyball Invitational, the Dorman Tournament of Champions and at the Winter Bump 18 Open Division tournament. At the 2014 AAU National Championships she was named to the All-American team while playing for her club team, the Carolina Islanders.

Marsh is the daughter of Chris and Joni Marsh, she has one brother Gibson. She plans to major in Nursing at Newberry College.
