Biography

Kierra is from Orangeburg and transfers to Newberry from Denmark Technical College. 

Mitchell is a proven scorer averaging over 20 points per game at Denmark Technical College in 2016. That made her the nation's 11th leading scorer in women's junior college basketball, as she was named a NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention. In the 2015-16 season for Denmark Technical College, Kierra connected on 46.8% of her field goal attempts, including 38% from three point range.
