Coco Leung enters her second season on the sidelines as the assistant coach for the Women's Basketball program at Newberry College after playing professionally in England and Spain from 2016 to 2021.Â
Leung earned two master's degrees in Marketing & Brand Management along with Sports Science at the University of Essex.
Leung graduated from Newberry in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. As a Wolf, Leung helped the Wolves win a SAC Championship in the 2014-15 season.
Before Newberry, Coco played for current Newberry Head Coach Joanna Tincher at Denmark Tech where she won Most Improved award as Freshman and led the nation in 3-point field goal percentage in her sophomore season.
The Charleston native also is an adjunct professor and is teaching a business class at Newberry College. Leung currently lives in Newberry.
