Played in 10 games with two starts...Caught seven passes for 156 yards...Career-long 68-yard grab at Carson-Newman Sept. 23 was Newberry's longest play from scrimmage in 2017...Also recovered a momentum-changing fumble on a Carson-Newman kickoff return that was critical in Newberry's 11th consecutive SAC win...Made three special teams tackles, all solo...Rushed once for six yards against Mars Hill on Nov. 11.
