Became Newberry's third-ever SAC Freshman of the Year...Tied Quinton Driggers (2019), Wesley Camp (2015), and Scott Butcher (1993) for school record with nine wins...Made 16 appearances (15 starts), finishing the season 9-3 with a 3.68 ERA...Ranked ninth nationally with a conference-high six complete games and 19th with 15 games started...Eighth-lowest WHIP in the SAC at 1.29...Led team with 93.0 innings pitched, second-most in the league, and and finished second on the team with 66 strikeouts as the "seven-inning Saturday starter"...Complete-game shutout wins over Kentucky Wesleyan and Lincoln Memorial...Won SAC and Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week honors after the Lincoln Memorial game, throwing a complete-game (seven inning) three-hit shutout in a 9-1 win that clinched the conference championship...Threw 6.0+ innings with two or fewer runs allowed eight different times in 2019...Went 6-1 with a 3.53 ERA and five complete games in SAC play...Member of Newberry's first-ever conference regular season championship team that spent eight weeks ranked in the top 10 and set school record with 41 wins.
