2026–27 Pin Pool Update
Thank you to the 81 members who have joined the 2026–27 Newberry Wrestling Pin Pool. Together, we are generating $220 per pin toward our goal of $400 per pin—that’s 55% of the way there, with $180 per pin to go.
What is the Pin Pool?
Pin Pool members pledge a specific amount for every pin the Wolves record during the season. Your final gift is determined by your per-pin pledge and the team’s season-ending pin total. For example, a $1-per-pin pledge would equal $100 if the team records 100 pins; a $5-per-pin pledge would equal $500.
This is Newberry Wrestling’s eighth annual Pin Pool campaign with a combined pledge goal of $400 per pin. All Pin Pool members receive rewards and benefits. See below!
All-Conference — $1–$4 per pin: Website recognition, Pin Pool koozie, and monthly updates and insider access from Coach Brown.
All-American — $5–$9 per pin: All-Conference benefits, plus a high-resolution team photo.
National Champion — $10–$15 per pin: All-American benefits, plus recognition on the facility Pin Pool banner and access to watch one live wrestling practice per week.
Olympic — $16 or more per pin: National Champion benefits, plus a red aluminum power bank with an engraved Newberry Wolves wordmark, mat-side seating at home events, and an invitation to the End-of-Season Awards Banquet on April 3, 2027.
When is my pledge due?
There is no payment at sign-up. Pledges are due at the end of the season in March 2027. Coach Brown will email each member their final pledge total and instructions for completing their gift. Members receive monthly updates on the team’s pin total and individual performances.
What does my gift support?
Pin Pool gifts supplement the wrestling program’s operating budget for competition travel, recruiting, team meals, equipment and facility maintenance, and team events that enhance the student-athlete experience at Newberry College.
