Participating Team's Rosters and Stats

Newberry College is honored to be hosting the Regional Round of the 2023 NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament in Newberry, S.C. This page will serve as a centralized location for all the information that you will need throughout the tournament including live stats and video as well as a parking, lodging, and restaurant options.

PARKING AND FACILTY INFORMATION

Parking is available in the lot adjacent to he baseball stadium on the first base side, there is overflow parking located directly across the street in the gravel lot as well.  Additional parking is available on the third base side as well as on the opposite side of the softball complex. Further parking is available on-campus, however it is a considerable walk from those parking lots to the complex and no shuttle services will be available. Handicap parking is available along both the first base and third base sides of the complex, however it is suggested that anyone using a wheelchair use the parking on the third base side.

TICKET INFORMATION

Admission will be charged for each day of the 2023 NCAA Regional Tournament and will be available for purchase online prior to the day through the official ticket partner of the SAC and Newberry College, Hometown Ticketing. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the game at the box office located on the first base side of the stadium.

NEWBERRY COLLEGE ATHLETIC POLICIES

The Smith Road Complex follows all rules of Newberry College, the South Atlantic Conference and the NCAA. Pets are not allowed on site without certified service credentials that must be shown upon request of the Newberry Staff. No glass bottles, weapons, concealed or otherwise or alcohol is allowed at the Smith Road Complex. Guests are welcome to bring folding chairs and pop-up tents, but are asked to keep from blocking the views of others. If you require accommodations, please contact the Newberry College Athletics Department as far in advance as possible so we can make every attempt to meet the necessary accommodations.

MEDIA POLICIES

Coaches and players from both teams will be available for comment and interviews after a mandated 10 minute cooling off period after the completion of each game. A designated area will be reserved for any post-game interviews that may occur. All interviews will need to be coordinated with the onsite Athletic Communications Coordinator, Mike Sanders.

Media credentials are available through the Newberry College Athletic Communications Department by contacting Director of Athletic Communications Mike Sanders at Mike.Sanders@newberry.edu or at (919) 559-1745. There will be limited space available for visiting media, but the host will accommodate as many outlets as possible, giving first right of refusal to those competing at that time. Your media credentials will allow you access to this area.

ATHLETIC TRAINING

Athletic Training facilities will be available for the use of all athletes. Any team traveling without an athletic trainer will need to coordinate with Assistant A.D. for Sports Medicine Greg McMillan or baseball athletic trainer Derek Knight.
