As a senior in 2009: Rated as a three-star recruit at quarterback by Rivals.com and a two-star recuit by Scout.com... Starting quarterback for the South squad in the 2009 North-South All-Star Game... Completed 163-of-258 passes for 2,195 yards and 26 touchdowns with only 4 interceptions... Also carried the ball 152 times for 1,122 yards and 15 touchdowns... Won the Golden Gun Award as the quarterback with the most accurate arm last spring against 60 of the nation's top prep quarterbacks at the Elite 11 competition camp in Athens, Ga... Named all-state by the High School Sports Report... Named Columbia Area AAA Offensive Player of the Year for second straight year... All-Region 5-AAA for second straight year...
