ROCK HILL, S.C. - Following a strong performance in the 25-22 road victory over Wingate, quarterback
Mason Kidd has been named the South Atlantic Conference football Offensive Player of the Week.
Kidd put together an impressive three-touchdown performance Saturday night on the road, all of which came in the third quarter. He finished the game 22-34 for 297 yards on the day, also adding three yards on the ground to finish the day with exactly 300 total yards.
He found
De'Andre Coleman down the left sideline for a 31-yard touchdown pass for his first of the game. One drive later, he found tight end
Keshon Washington wide open who found his way into the endzone for Kidd's second in as many drives. He completed the trifecta on the ensuing drive, once again finding Coleman down the middle of the field for a 28-yard score.
The Wolves hit the road once again this Saturday, September 26, taking on Emory & Henry at 1:00 P.M.
