GREENEVILLE, TN – Newberry men's volleyball put up a strong fight to Tusculum (25–21, 25–21, 25–23) Tuesday evening at Pioneer Arena. The Wolves remained competitive throughout the match, including a late push in the third set.
Preston Anderson led Newberry with 13 kills while hitting .387, and Lucas Nieves and Timothy Cox each added seven kills.
Greyson Crumpton recorded 28 assists to pace the offense, while Ignacio Rodriguez contributed four block assists as part of Newberry's eight total team blocks.
The Wolves begin their final homestretch of the season on Thursday at 6pm vs. Carolina University.
