NEWBERRY, S.C. — The Newberry College men's and women's track & field teams are set to compete in the upcoming conference championships, scheduled for April 29–30 at Emory & Henry University. The two-day event will bring together top competitors from across the conference as the Wolves look to build on last season's performances.
On the women's side, Newberry will be represented by Kamryon Adderton, Cassidy Bouchard, Kylynn Boyd, Kiori Butler, Gabriella Darazi, Peniel Eke, Kayleih Geel, Catherine Glover, Olivia Hare, Adele Hillier, Anna Johnson, Brittany Montgomery, Zakarah Powell, Tatiyana Prawl, Nia Quimby, Bryanna Thompson, and Madalynn Williams.
The men's team will feature Dejon Barber, Jamari Bennett, Drew Benson, William Bishay, Cohutta Brown, Jaylen Cobb, Jhayden Gattison, Timothy Hartman, Zion Jackson, Jordan Kent, Nigel Landrum, Ethan Linder, Jaxson Moody, Daytron Moorer, Addison O'Cain, Kendall Parker, Kenton Proctor, Braylon Reier, Tyler Shumate, Quentin Smith, Joshua Steele, Alexander Stewart, Tavarian Thompson, Landon Tucker, Dwayne Weiters, Jonah Wendland, and Ryan Wright.
Last season, the Newberry men's team finished tied for eighth place, while the women's team secured a seventh-place finish. With a mix of returning talent and new competitors, both squads aim to improve upon those results and make a strong showing at this year's championship meet. The Wolves look forward to two days of competitive action as they take on the conference's best in pursuit of podium finishes and personal best performances.
Day 1 of the championship will begin at 10 A.M. with the running events, followed by the field events which will commence at 10:30 A.M. Day 2 will begin with the field events at 1:00 P.M., followed by the running events at 2:00 P.M.
