LENOIR CITY, TN-  The Newberry College men's golf team competed against a deep and nationally ranked field at the Tennessee River Rumble, hosted by Lincoln Memorial at WindRiver Golf Club, finishing 14th overall with a three-round total of 49-over par.

The Wolves opened the tournament with a 16-over par round and followed with their best performance of the event in round two at 14-over. Newberry closed play with a 19-over final round.

Fredrik Gannon led the way for Newberry, finishing tied for 29th at 7-over par. Gannon's tournament was highlighted by an even-par 72 in the second round and a consistent closing round of 75 (+3).

Daniel Donato turned in a 13-over performance to finish tied for 60th, while Jesper Gruendemann placed tied for 64th at 14-over. Josh Greig finished tied for 73rd at 16-over, and Christian Kuehl rounded out the lineup tied for 88th at 23-over.
