This week's South Carolina Army National Guard Newberry College Players of the Week are senior attacker Ella Todd (Maple Ridge, BC) and  sophomore pitcher Jacob Clark (Mid-Carolina High School).
 
Todd registered one of the best offensive performances in school history with four goals and four assists in the Wolves 19-4 win over Mars Hill.  She scored three of her four goals in the first half staking the Wolves to an 11-2 halftime lead.   Todd leads the SAC in assists (20) and is third in points (33) and has 87 goals and 146 points in her Newberry career.
 
Clark earned a series opening win over Tusculum pitching seven shutout innings and allowing only  four hits in the Wolves 7-0 victory.  He struck out six and allowed only one runner to third base to improve to 5-2 on the season.  Clark has won five of his last six starts, allowing only seven earned runs over his last 42 innings for an earned run average of 1.50.
