Newberry Triathlon Earns CTCA Scholar All-American Team Honors

NEWBERRY, SC — The Newberry College triathlon program earned Collegiate Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) Scholar All-American Team honors following the fall semester, posting an outstanding team grade point average of 3.92.

In addition to the team recognition, three Wolves were named CTCA Division II Scholar All-American Honorable Mention recipients: Kayleigh Geel, Anna Laskodi, and Daritzamar Estrada Flores. The honor recognizes student-athletes who competed at the national level while maintaining a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

The academic achievements reflect the program's commitment to excellence in the classroom while competing at the NCAA Division II level. CTCA Scholar All-American honors are awarded to student-athletes and teams that meet rigorous academic standards during the fall semester.

Academic Team Honors and individual Scholar All-American recognitions are published by the CTCA following the completion of the fall academic term.
