YOUNG HARRIS, GA- Newberry controlled Young Harris in dominant fashion, earning an 18–8 victory over Young Harris College. The Wolves (1-1) jumped out early and never looked back, taking a 9–2 lead into halftime behind dominant possession and an aggressive offensive attack.

Offensively, Newberry showcased balanced scoring and standout individual performances. Matthew Burt led the way with six goals and two assists, while Liam Vollans added three goals and one assist. Mike Marinello contributed two goals and one assist, Scott Williams finished with two goals and two assists, and Gage Vigar chipped in three goals and one assist. Their combined efforts ensured consistent scoring pressure all night.

Defensively, the Wolves forced turnovers and capitalized on transition opportunities, keeping Young Harris off balance from start to finish.
