The Newberry College Athletics Department has announced the formation of the Newberry College Hall of Master Coaches.

Mirroring the Newberry College Department of Education Hall of Master Teachers, the aim of the organization is to honor Newberry College graduates who have achieved excellence in coaching at the high school, college or professional ranks.

The goal is to honor and strengthen ties with Newberry College athletic alumni.

The inaugural group will be inducted the weekend of April 18 which coincides with the 2026 spring football game.

Nominations will be accepted through the month of February.
