MT. PLEASANT, S.C. — The Newberry College women's golf team wrapped up competition at the LR/Dunes West Women's Intercollegiate with a 14th-place finish out of 17 teams (Par 72 | 5,994 yards).
Natalia Aguilar led the Wolves throughout the tournament, finishing at +18 overall. After opening the event with a 77, Aguilar fired a strong 35 on the back nine during round two and closed the tournament with a 5-over 77 in the final round to pace Newberry. Chloe Tanner finished at +32 overall, highlighted by consistent play across all three rounds, including a 79 in the final round. Anais Oelius turned in steady performances as well, finishing at +34 overall and carding an 82 in round three. Ashton Moseley recorded a second-round 88 and finished the tournament at +52, while Rushna Ali rounded out the Wolves' lineup with a +59 overall showing.
In round two, Newberry saw multiple birdies across the lineup, including key scoring stretches on the back nine. The Wolves continued to compete through challenging stretches in round three, battling through the final 18 holes against a competitive field. The Wolves will be back in action March 9–10 at the Converse Spring Invite.
