SALISBURY, NC – Newberry men's volleyball battled throughout all three sets in an away contest at Catawba College on Tuesday night but ultimately dropped a 3–0 decision (25–22, 25–19, 25–22) to the Indians in Salisbury, N.C. Newberry finished with 25 team kills and seven aces while Catawba recorded 40 kills and nine aces in the sweep.
Lucas Nieves led the Wolves with eight kills and three aces, and Preston Anderson added six kills and 10 digs as Newberry's top two offensive producers. Timothy Cox contributed four kills and an ace, while setter Greyson Crumpton paced the offense with 19 assists. In the back row, Anderson's 10 digs helped spark several long rallies for the Wolves, and at the net Carson Kramer recorded two block assists in relief.
