HARROGATE, Tenn. — The Newberry College women's volleyball team fell 3-0 on the road to the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters on Friday night. The Wolves battled throughout the opening set, but Lincoln Memorial secured a 25-23 victory to take an early 1-0 lead.
Newberry continued to compete in the second set, but the Railsplitters pulled away late to take the set 25-21 and extend their advantage to 2-0. Lincoln Memorial closed out the match with a 25-11 victory in the third set to complete the 3-0 sweep.
The Wolves will be back in action Saturday October 3rd at 2:00pm as they travel to Carson-Newman to face the Eagles.
