The Newberry College Wolves football team opens the 2025 season on the road tonight when they travel to Wise, Va. to take on UVA Wise in a South Atlantic Conerence game at 6:00 p.m.

The Wolves have won four of their last five season openers.

Todd Knight enters his 17th season as head coach with a 96-75 overall record making him the winningest coach in school history.

Newberry returns home next week to take on Point (Ga.) in the home opener starting at 7:00 p.m. at Setzler Field.
