NEWBERRY, S.C. – Three Newberry College standouts have been named to the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Players to Watch list for the upcoming 2025 men's soccer season: Josh Momodu (Senior, Defender), Seraphin Guetan (Junior, Forward/Midfielder), and Brayden Martinez (Senior, Defender).

Momodu, a senior defender, started 11 matches last fall and totaled 964 minutes on the pitch, adding two assists to the Wolves' attack. Guetan made six starts in 2024, recording six shots across 288 minutes of action in his sophomore campaign. Martinez provided consistency on the back line, appearing in 14 contests with 12 starts and logging 1,179 minutes of play.

The Wolves were picked to finish 11th out of 11 in the SAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Newberry opens the 2025 season on September 4th at Belmont Abbey with kickoff scheduled for 7PM. A complete schedule and ticket information are available at newberrywolves.com
