On the strength of sweeping Anderson in the final home series of the year, the Newberry College Wolves baseball team has again qualified for the South Atlantic Conference Tournament.
The #8 seeded Wolves will travel to Salisbury, N.C. to face top seed and #6 ranked Catawba Friday at 2:00 p.m.
The winner of that game will face the winner of the other game in the Catawba bracket, #5 Limestone and #4 Coker, Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
The loser of those two games will play in an elimination game Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
The championship game is slated for Sunday at 3:00 p.m. with the bracket winner advancing to face the winner of the Lenoir-Rhyne bracket in the championship two out of three series in Asheboro, N.C. May 9-10.
It marks the 14th consecutive year, dating back to 2011 that the Wolves have qualified for the SAC Tournament.
