The Wolves set the tone early in doubles play, with Margarita Roshka and Alexa Gamborino-Suarez earning a clutch 7-6 win, taking the tiebreak 7-4 to put Newberry on the board.
In singles action, Emma Arnal wasted no time delivering a dominant performance, cruising to a 6-1, 6-1 victory to give the Wolves an early singles advantage. Roshka followed up with a gutsy comeback win, battling back from a first-set loss to claim a 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 triumph. Lina Sarhan added another crucial point for Newberry with a 7-5, 6-2 victory, while Gamborino-Suarez sealed the match with a 6-2, 7-5 win, ensuring the Wolves emerged victorious.
The Wolves will compete next on February 8th at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC.
