The Newberry College Wolves football team is ranked fourth in the NCAA Division 2 Super Region 2 poll.
Eight teams from Super Region 2 will advance to the playoffs with the South Atlantic Conference, Conference Carolinas, Gulf South and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champions each receiving an automatic bid.
West Florida is the top ranked team in the Gulf South, Albany State is the top ranked team in SIAC, the Wolves are the top ranked team in the SAC and UNC Pembroke is the top ranked team in Conference Carolinas.
The Wolves host Carson-Newman Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Setzler Field.
