James Lovorn led the charge with 19 points, including three timely three-pointers. Malakhi Stremlow contributed across the board with a double-double of 10 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Drake Downs added 10 flawless points off the bench, hitting all five of his field goal attempts, while Drew Robinson chipped in 13 points, perfect from the free-throw line.
 
This performance was a far cry from their previous clash last season, where Limestone defeated Newberry in a 92-72 loss. This time, the Wolves showed grit and determination, dominating the paint with a 50-28 scoring edge and capitalizing on fast-break opportunities for 22 points.
 
Newberry's depth also shined, with the bench contributing an impressive 40 points. With the victory, the Wolves improved to 7-8 overall and 4-7 in SAC play. The Wolves will return to their home court on January 18^th for a 4PM matchup against the Lions of Mars Hill.
