PREVIEW: Wolves To Honor Their Seniors Against Coker

NEWBERRY, S.C. - Women's tennis (10-5, 6-4 SAC) hosts their final home match of the season against Coker (8-8, 4-6 SAC).

Prior to the match beginning at 2 P.M. the Wolves will celebrate the careers of seniors Rosie Harfield and Ishita Singh at 12:30 P.M.

The class of 2024 saw the program elevate to the highest level in  team history where they made it to the semi final round of the SAC tournament two years in a row (2021-22/2022-23). In the 2021-22 season, the Newberry Wolves claimed the programs first ever NCAA tournament win with a 4-3 match against #7 Queens.

Singh came into the program in the 2020-21 season. As a Wolf she has an overall singles record of 37-25 and a doubles record of 26-23. Singh is currently one singles wins behind tenth place in program history with 37 career wins. For majority of the season Singh has been playing on court four in singles, where she boasts a 9-2 record there. Overall, Singh currently has 13 court four wins and is one win away from tying fifth in court four wins. On court five, Singh is currently tied in program history for career wins at 9. 

Harfield became a Wolf in the 2020-21 season. During her time as a Wolf she has accumulated an overall record of 26-17 in singles and 38-32 in doubles. On court three in Doubles, Harfield is currently tied for fifth in program wins at 17. This season Harfield has found the most success on court one in doubles where she and Singh have a 7-1 record. In singles Rosie is on a two match win streak playing on court six.
