NEWBERRY, S.C.-The Wolves split with the Pioneers of Tusculum for their last regular season conference double header and senior day. The Pioneers took game one 6-2 and the Wolves took game two 9-0 in mercy rule fashion.
Game 1
The Pioneers started game one off with two runs in the top of the first with two RBI singles to take the lead 2-0. Tusculum would add one more run in the top of the third to extend their lead to 3-0.
The Wolves put their first runs on the board in the bottom of the third with a single up the middle from
Hailey Hill for
Mady Brown and
Sierra Brogdon to score to shorten the Pioneers lead 3-2.
The Pioneers would add two more runs in the top of the sixth to put them up 5-2. They would tag one more run in the top of the seventh and then take game one of the afternoon 6-2.

Senior pitcher
Olivia Chestnut earned the win for game two where she threw a no hitter. Chestnut totaled eight strikeouts in her five innings of work.
The Wolves bats came alive in game two. The Wolves scoring began in the bottom of the second with a single to right field from
Kristin Griffin and
Cassidy Phelps scored to make the score 1-0.
In the bottom of the third inning,
Vanessa Wilson started the Wolves off with a two-run home run to center field.
Emily Perry singled up the middle and Griffin and
Cassidy Phelps scored to extend the Wolves lead to 5-0.
The Wolves would add four more runs in the bottom of the fourth,
Tori Rose scored on a wild pitch.
Hailey Hill singled up the middle and
Sierra Brogdon crossed home plate.
Vanessa Wilson then hit her second two-run home run of the game to put the Wolves up 9-0.
The Wolves took game two of the afternoon in mercy rule fashion 9-0.
