ROCK HILL, S.C. – Senior right-handed pitcher Matias Marchesini has been named the South Atlantic Conference's pitcher of the week announced this morning by the conference office.
 
Marchesini shined in his second start of the season going eight innings, striking out seven batters, while allowing a runner in scoring position in the Wolves 1-0 win over Mars Hill last Friday at Henderson Field in Mars Hill.

Marchesini holds a 3.18 earned run average, 26 strikeouts, and a 2-0 record in 11 games played and two starts for the Wolves this season.
 
The Wolves are back in action this evening as they will host the number three ranked Crusaders of North Greenville at 6:00 p.m.
