NEWBERRY, S.C.- The Wolves (24-22, 10-12 SAC) swept the Bobcats of Georgia College (24-26, 7-14 PBC) in a non-conference double header with the score for game one 12-1 in five innings and game two 7-6 in walk off fashion.
Game 1
Lex Glemaker earned the win for game one, improving her record to 11-6 for the season. Glemaker allowed one run on two hits with four strikeouts in her five innings of work.
The Bobcats started game one off with a solo home run to center field to put the first run on the board.
The Wolves answered by scoring seven runs in the bottom of the first and second innings to put them in the lead 7-1.
Vanessa Wilson started the Wolves scoring off with a two-run home run to right center in the bottom of the first.
Maddy Staples started the five inning second off as she hit a SAC fly to right field for
Kristin Griffin to score.
Sierra Brogdon then doubled to right center for
Bethany Pigg to score.
Hailey Hill hit a SAC fly to left field and
Melanie Carr scored.
Vanessa Wilson would then hit a two-run single up the middle to put the Wolves up 7-1.
The Wolves didn't stop there…
In the bottom of the fourth
Mady Brown hit an RBI single to right field.
Vanessa Wilson hit a SAC fly out to right field for
Yahaira Williams to score.
Cassidy Phelps also hit a SAC fly to center field for
Mady Brown to score.
Kristin Griffin then hit a two-run home run to right field to put the Wolves up 12-1.
Glemaker would hold the Bobcats in the top of the fifth inning for the Wolves to take game one in mercy rule fashion 12-1.

- Kristin Griffin went three for three at the plate with a home run and two RBIs.

Game 2
Lindsey Foster earned the win for game two, improving her record to 7-4 for the season. Foster allowed two hits and one walk with three strikeouts in two innings of work.
Georgia College started off game two with a solo home run in the top of the first to put them up 1-0. The Bobcats added two more runs with a two-run home run to left field in the top of the second to extend their lead to 3-0.
The Wolves responded with a two-run homerun to right center in the bottom of the third from
Sierra Brogdon.
Vanessa Wilson tied the game up 3-3 with a solo home run to center field in the bottom of the fourth.
The Bobcats would add three more runs in the top of the fifth with an RBI double and a two-run homerun to regain the lead 6-3.
In the top of the sixth,
Bethany Pigg reached on a fielder's choice and
Vanessa Wilson would cross the plate to shorten the Bobcats lead to 6-4.
The Wolves came out firing in the bottom of the seventh inning with an RBI single from
Vanessa Wilson.
Lindsey Foster put the Wolves past the Bobcats with a walk off win in the bottom of the seventh where she reached on a fielder's choice and
Hailey Hill scored.

- Sierra Brogdon went two for four at the plate with a double and two RBIs.
- Olivia Chestnut tallied five strikeouts in her three innings of work.
