PREVIEW: Wolves Have Short Turn Around Against Wingate

WINGATE, N.C. - Women's tennis (8-4, 4-3 SAC) travel North Carolina to face off against #19 Wingate (10-1, 5-0) at 2 P.M.

SCOUTING THE WOLVES

The women claimed their first victory in two weeks yesterday against Lincoln Memorial, 7-0.
With Rosie Harfield starting on court #6, the Wolves may have finally solidified their starting line up.
- Harfiled has started the past three matches, going 2-1.
  - In her one loss she forced her match to three sets.
Court #5 standout Aina Miralles is undefeated in the month of March, going 5-0.
- Miralles is also undefeated in doubles with her partner Sofia Cardenas.
Although Newberry is currently 8th in the SAC, the played on the heals of the #2 Lenoir-Rhyne and #4 seed Catawba, while defeating #3 Limestone.
- Wingate has no played Lenoir-Rhyne and Limestone, but defeated Catawba 7-0.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS

The Bulldogs are currently ranked #19 in the nation and are 10-1 with their only loss coming from current #2 Nova Southeastern, 2-5.
- In Wingate's five conference matches, they have defeated every opponent 7-0.
Wingate rosters two singles players in the top 30.
- #19 Chloe Kosmrlj is 16-2 in singles and 15-1 in doubles.
  - She defeated current #5 in the nation Lexie Weir.
- #27 Eva Siska is 14-2 in singles and 12-3 in doubles.
  - She defeated current #33 Nikoline Gullacksen of Columbus State.
