SCOUTING THE WOLVES
- The Wolves played one of their toughest opponents last week, keeping up with #14 Limestone up until the late third period.
- Newberry went into halftime trailing 4-6.
- Senior attack Trysten Burns had a career high four goals and three assists against the Saints.
- In head to head match ups, the Wolves have the advantage over the Bears, outperforming them against UVA Wise, Mount Olive, Limestone and Wingate,
- Last year the Saints and Wolves brought the game down to double overtime, where Newberry emerged victorious, 11-10.
SCOUTING THE BEARS
- The Bears are coming off the best game this season, defeating Mars Hill 18-0.
- This is the first time in program history the Bears have shutout an opponent.
- Lenoir-Rhyne has not scored double digit goals against teams with a .500 or better record.
- Their three wins come from Emory & Henry (1-10), 21-2, Mars Hill (3-8), 18-0 and Southern Wesleyan (1-10), 23-1.
- The Bears average 10.18 goals a game while allowing 12.36 goals.
