NEWBERRY, S.C.- The Wolves (12-10, 0-0 SAC) swept the Marauders of Millersville (4-2, 0-0 PSAC) this afternoon 6-5 in the first game and 10-2 in five innings in game two.
Game 1
Lindsey Foster earned the win for game one, improving her record to 5-2 only giving up four hits and one run in five innings of work with three strikeouts.
Eva Crader earned her second save pitching one inning, only allowing two hits and one run with two strikeouts.
Millersville started game one of the afternoons double header tagging three runs on in the top of the first and then one more in the fifth.
The Wolves had a slow start in the beginning up until the sixth inning scoring six runs to take the lead 6-4.
Vanessa Wilson started the Wolves off with a single to right field for
Hailey Hill to score.
Tori Rose hit a three run double for
Leah Evans,
Kristin Griffin, and
Bethany Pigg to score.
Sierra Brogdon then homered, and Rose crossed the plate.
The Marauders would try to come back adding one more run, but the Wolves would take game one of the double header 6-5.

Game 2
The Wolves took game two in a 10-2 decision in mercy rule style to complete their sweep.
Lex Glemaker earned the win for game two, improving her record to 2-4 allowing one hit and no runs in four innings with two strikeouts.
The Wolves were the first on the board with a double to right field from
Vanessa Wilson for
Sierra Brogdon to cross the plate to start the game 1-0.
The Lady Wolves would extend their lead, tallying six more runs in the bottom of the third to make the score 7-0.
The run started with a single to right center from
Bethany Pigg for
Vanessa Wilson to score.
Melanie Carr then singled to right center and
Kristin Griffin scored.
Bethany Pigg then crossed the plate on a wild pitch.
Sierra Brogdon singled to right field and
Melanie Carr scored.
Tori Rose was able to score on a wild pitch.
Cassidy Phelps reached on an error by the Marauders shortstop and
Sierra Brogdon scored.
The Marauders would attempt to come back in the top of the fifth adding two runs on the board, but the Wolves would answer adding three more runs in the bottom of the fifth to take game two 10-2 in mercy rule style.
In the bottom of the fifth,
Hailey Hill singled to right center and
Tori Rose scored.
Vanessa Wilson singled up the middle and
Yahaira Williams crossed home plate. To take the game
Kristin Griffin singled up the middle and
Hailey Hill crossed the plate.
