NEWBERRY – The Newberry College baseball team (11-16, 6-6 SAC) will hit the road Tuesday evening to face the Jaguars of Augusta University (16-11, 6-3 PBC). First pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m.

Scouting the Wolves
- The Wolves enter the mid-week contest with an 11-16 overall record and a 6-6 South Atlantic Conference mark. The Wolves are currently on a four-game winning streak after sweeping the Trojans of Anderson University this past weekend.
- Junior outfielder Donovan Ford leads the Wolves in the lead off spot with a .382 batting average and a team high 18 stolen bags on the season. Ford went 8-13 in the weekend series at Anderson with his first home run of the season in Sunday's 12-10 win.
- Senior left hander Wyatt Carey got two saves for the Wolves in the series sweep this past weekend. Carey has a 2-1 record in the season with nine strikeouts in 20 innings pitched.
Scouting the Jaguars
- The Jaguars are 16-11 this season with a 6-3 record in the Peach Belt Conference. The Jaguars swept Claflin in a three-game series last weekend.
- The Jaguars are led on the offensive end by sophomore infielder Kyle Lodise. Lodise has a team high 30 RBIs and eight home runs on the season. Lodise went 5-9 in the series against Claflin with a home run in each game.
- On the mound last Tuesday, the Jaguars threw freshman right hander Marshall Flowers. Flowers has a 1-0 record on the season with a 2.45 ERA in seven and a third innings pitched.
