Box Score NEWBERRY, S.C. - Women's tennis loss their first conference match of the season against Tusculum 2-5.
Starting the day off a little slow, the duo of

Ish Singh taking the first set 7-6, followed by a 6-4 set. Miralles stayed undefeated on the day and played the best tennis for the Wolves in singles. After a 7-5 first set, Miralles left no crumbs on her plate, sweeping her opponent with a 6-0 second set.
Two matches came down to the wire for Newberry. After a first set loss on court two for Cardenas, she was able to compose herself and take the second set 6-2. Cardenas would go on to drop the third set 4-6. On court six down her first set,
Renee Dorval found herself down 3-1 but pulled her best 2016 Lebron impression and came back from her deficit, winning 6-3. Dorval would unfortunately meet the same fate as her fellow Wolf and lose the third set.
The Wolves continue their conference play, home against Emory & Henry at 2 P.M.
