SALISBURY, N.C.- The Wolves (8-19, 6-13 SAC) fell to the #12 Indians of Catawba (21-4, 16-3 SAC) this evening on the road 84-52.
Junior guard
Caylin Moment posted a new season high leading the Wolves with 16 points along with tagging three rebounds.
Jess Tomkins totaled nine points and six rebounds for the Wolves this evening.
The Indians had four athletes score in the double digits this evening.
The Wolves had a trailed the Indians 37-16 going into halftime after Catawba went on a 16-4 run to finish the half.
After trailing by 21 at the half, the Wolves weren't going down without a fight in the second half starting the third quarter off with an 8-4 run behind buckets from Tomkins and
Chloe Andrew. A three by
Jenna Yanity with 1:27 remaining in the third would bring the Wolves within 19. The Wolves would have their best shooting quarter in the third, as they would shoot 6-11 from the field.
 The Wolves and Indians would battle in the fourth quarter as Moment would score 11 of her sixteen in the fourth but the Indians would prevail winning 84-52.   Â
