NEWBERRY – The Newberry College men's basketball team hosts its final game of the 2023-24 season tomorrow (Feb. 24) against Lincoln Memorial in Eleazer Arena. It's Senior Day for the Wolves who will honor
Jalen Johnson. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Newberry will also retire the jersey of Todd Frazier '89 at halftime of the men's game.

Scouting the Wolves:
• Newberry (6-16, 5-12 SAC) lost to Anderson on Wednesday night in Eleazer Arena.

Drake Downs put together his second career double-double to lead the Wolves with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
•
Caleb Byrd sank four 3s and added three free throws for 15 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists and four steals on the defensive end.
• The Wolves' bench outscored Anderson's 22-10, and as a team, Newberry outworked AU in the paint 30-26.
Scouting the Railsplitters:
• Lincoln Memorial (19-6, 13-3) has won four straight games, the most recent win coming on the road against Tusculum on Wednesday night, 85-71.
• Martez Brown paced the Railsplitters with a 25-point, 13-rebound double-double over the Pioneers.
• Wes Enis added 18 points and four assists for LMU; Enis leads the team in scoring at 17.4 points per game.
• Matthew Sells (15 points) and Jordan Walters (13) gave Lincoln Memorial four in double-figures.
• LMU ranks at the top of the conference defensively, allowing the fewest points per game (74), lowest field-goal percentage (40.7%) and lowest 3-point percentage (33.8%).
