LOCATION: Smith Road Complex – Newberry, SC

 

RECAP: In a challenging match at the Smith Road Complex, Newberry faced a first place Catawba team. The Indians opened up the scoring in the 7th minute and quickly built a lead, adding three more goals by the 22nd minute. Besides a strong defensive effort, the Wolves struggled to break through Catawba's defense, adding only one shot on goal throughout the match. The Indians kept the offense fired up for the second half, putting away goals in the 55th and 65th minute, sealing a 6-0 shutout victory. The Wolves will look to bounce back in their final regular season match on November, 6th.
