RECAP: The Wolves put on an impressive performance in their 4-0 shutout victory over Emory & Henry, demonstrating both strong attacks and a resilient defense. The game began with high energy as Harry McDonnell found the back of the net just three minutes into the match, converting an assist from Josh Momadu. Newberry continued to give the Wasps pressure, and McDonnell doubled the lead in the 36th minute, again set up by Momadu, showcasing the defensive duo.

 

In the second half, Newberry continued their offensive momentum. At the 70-minute mark, Alex Lopez capitalized on a scoring opportunity to extend the lead to 3-0. Ethan Orozco wrapped up Newberry's scoring in the 85th minute, assisted by Henok Awoke, sealing the victory. Goalkeeper Jacob Cotton was rock-solid, making five big saves and recording a clean sheet to cap off an all-around team effort.
