ROCK HILL S.C. - Women's lacrosse comes in ranked second in the South Atlantic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll. After setting a program best 13-6 last season, this is the highest women's lacrosse has be selected in program history.

The wolves received a voting score of 109, surpassing Limestone's 100 points in voting and only trailing Wingate's 121 point score.

Among the five wolves given All-SAC honors are:

Cassell Richardson (First Team), Marissa Plumer (First Team), Madalyn Messersmith (First Team), Ella Todd (Second Team), and Emma Jobs (Second Team).

2023 second team attack, Junior Cassell Richardson received first team honors after leading the wolves offense in scoring with 45 goals and tallying 10 assists.

After an incredible fall season with the field hockey team, 2023 second team midfield graduate Marissa Plumer led the midfield line in points after scoring 30 goals and adding 22 assists.

Defensive standout Madalyn Messersmith adds to her already decorated career locking down the wolves defense. Messersmith, 2023 first team defensive All-SAC, looks to lead her defense by example this season.

Coming in third in goals for the wolves is Sophomore attack Ella Todd who had an incredible freshman season last year after scoring 35 goals and 17 assists. As a freshman Todd received third team All-SAC as an attack last season. Todd led the wolves attack line in assists, only coming second overall to Plumer (22).

Junior midfield Emma Jobs received her second team vote and having an incredible scoring year last season. Jobs came only second in scoring for the wolves with 40 goals on the season and notched nine assists. Jobs finished last season off with a third team All-SAC honor at midfield.
