Men's wrestling dominates #4 Conference Carolinas Belmont Abbey with 38-7 win. Tonight's win set a season high four falls (pin) for the wolves.
Starting off red hot for the wolves was

Zach Harrington was not going to let Shupp have all the fun and decided to get himself a fall as well. Moving the score to 12-4, Harrington pinned the opposition 2:10s. 149 powerhouse
Devan Moore continued the winning streak, shutting out his opponent 15-0 with a five point tech. fall. Moore's fall came at 5:18s, moving the score 17-4.
Arguably the match of the night, PJ Wunderlich moved up to 165 for the first time this season. After a rocky start against the crusaders PJ pulled off what some would call a miracle in the last period. Down 10-2 in the first period both athletes stalemated the second period coming into the third 10-2. The third period started off with a one point escape for Belmont moving the score 11-2. Sensing the urgency Wunderlich went 5th gear and had back to back take-downs within 20 seconds, moving the score 12-8. With 35 seconds left in the match Wunderlich let his opponent up for the final time, dealing the take-down of the match in the 30th second. Managing to get a four point near fall on hold with ten seconds remaining, PJ instead pulled off an incredible pin with seven seconds remaining in the match, moving the score to 23-4.Â
Andrew Reed continued the wolves success with an 8-5 decision win after a scrappy bout. Following in good fashion,
Jacoby Benjamin also claimed a 10-4 decision win also gaining the wolves three points. In an ultimate stalemate of a match, 197 Ib
John Parker Jr was awarded one ride time point after tallying 2 minutes, unfortunately he awarded his opposition one point via stalling, ending the third period 1-1. In the first period of OT Parker managed to seal the win in with a sudden victory take-down adding another three points, now making it 32-7. Ending off the night in usual
Devon Rice fashion was the last fall of the night, coming in at 2:12s sealing the deal with a lot of cushion 38-7.Â
