Box Score ANDERSON, S.C.- The Newberry College Volleyball team fell to the Trojans of Anderson University Tuesday (Sept. 5) 3-0. The Wolves fought hard in the last set but ultimately dropped three sets to the Trojans.

Taylor Hall led the wolves with 8 kills and 1 service ace,
Madison Watson,
Margaret McMahon, and
Samantha Shaffer all with 1 block, and
Annie Dill and
Kannyn Boyd both with 10 digs for the match.
The Wolves fought hard in the third set keeping the score tied most of the way. The Wolves took the lead in the third set 19-18, and kept it close all the way to the end finishing the third set 25-20 before falling to the Trojans.

The Wolves will be on the road again this weekend traveling to Mount Olive to compete in the Mount Olive Tournament this Friday and Saturday (Sept. 8-9). The Wolves will start the weekend against Sheperd Friday at 3:00 p.m. (EST).
