Wolves Go On the Road for Mid-Week Conference Match with the Railsplitters

NEWBERRY – The Newberry College field hockey team will hit the road Tuesday afternoon, as they will travel to Tennessee to take on the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial University. The match will be set to start at 3:00 p.m. at the LMU Lacrosse Complex.
 
Scouting the Wolves
  • The Wolves are currently 7-1 after suffering their first loss of the season to the Trojans of Mount Olive last Saturday 3-2.
  • In the loss, sophomore forward Emma Westbrook and freshman forward Parker Keeler both picked up goals on the afternoon. Junior forward Tamsin Bangert had an assist on the Westbrook goal.
Scouting the Railsplitters
  • The Railsplitters enter Tuesday's contest with an 0-8 record and an 0-4 SAC mark.
  • Lincoln Memorial is fresh off a 1-0 loss to Coker Saturday in Harrogate. Senior midfielder Haley White leads Lincoln Memorial with three goals on the season.
