Wolves Tie Wasps in the Night Cap of a Saturday Double Header

NEWBERRY-  The Newberry College women's soccer team tied the Wasps of Emory & Henry College Saturday evening with a score of 1-1 at Smith Rd. Complex.

The Wolves scored a goal early in the first half with a goal from junior defender Becca Lipp to give the Wolves a 1-0 lead.

The Wasps would score a goal at the 76 minute mark to tie the game.

The Wolves (2-3-1, 0-1-1 SAC) will return to Smith Rd. Complex Wednesday evening as they host the Saints of Limestone University at 5:00 p.m.
