Scouting the Warriors: Southern Wesleyan (0-2, 0-1 Conference Carolinas) travel in-state for their game against the Wolves, but they will be looking to win for the first time this season after dropping the two opening games with the most recent coming against Belmont Abbey March 4. Coming into Setzler, the Warriors could look to one of their leaders in attack as Lauryn Esposito is one to watch for the visitors. A freshman from Calvert County, Maryland, she leads the team in goals with five and is second in points with the same value. On the defense, she is active with three ground balls and caused turnovers while leading the team with seven draw controls.

Scouting the Wolves: Newberry (4-2, 2-0 South Atlantic Conference) looks to stay hot after a wonderful weekend the last time out at Setzler. Their 16-8 win over the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters gave them the top spot in the conference with a game in hand, and Head Coach Tommy Kelly has his team looking to make it four in a row. He'll be in good hands defensively as the Wolves have been capitalizing on great goalkeeping and a swarming defense, which includes the player to watch, Madalyn Messersmith. A senior from Kent Island, Maryland, the defender is second on the team in caused turnovers (11) while leading the team in ground balls (19).
