NEWBERRY, S.C. – The No. 12 Newberry College women's tennis team (13-2, 6-1 SAC) has added a road match with the No. 42 Lander Bearcats (9-4, 2-1 Peach Belt) on Monday, April 17. The new match is scheduled for 2 P.M.

The teams have met once this season, a Feb.-4 matchup in the City of Florence Collegiate Invitational Championship. The Wolves secured a 4-0 victory over the Bearcats, securing their second consecutive Florence Invitational championship. The Wolves and Bearcats were also scheduled to square off on March 21, but the match was canceled.

The new match will follow the same format as the Florence Invitational, play will be suspended once one team takes the four points necessary to claim the match.
