Scouting the Cavaliers: The 7-3 (3-1 South Atlantic Conference) UVA Wise Cavaliers make the voyage to Setzler Field after holding on to beat the Lenoir Rhyne Bears, 16-14, on March 22. If the Wolves want to ensure that they leave Setzler victorious, the defense will have to contain UVA's freshman Caitlyn Shultz. Young but bursting onto the scene already, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native leads her team in total points with 39 (29 goals, 10 assists). In the game against Lenoir Rhyne, she contributed three goals to go with her four ground balls and draw controls en route to the win.

Scouting the Wolves: Dropping the last three matches (although all have come on the road against competitive teams), Newberry (5-5, 2-1 South Atlantic Conference) will look to end their skid and reclaim the momentum that they started the season with. The Wolves may not have been getting results as a team, but one person to watch that could become a catalyst for the matchup is sophomore attacker Serena Elias. The Myrtle Beach native has stepped up for her team, scoring four goals in the loss against the Wingate Bulldogs. Since not scoring against Lincoln Memorial on March 4, she has scored a goal in the four games to follow, almost doubling her goal tally in the last game alone.
