Box Score FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA.- The Wolves (4-8, 2-2 SAC) fell to the Lions of Emmanuel University (8-4, 4-0 CC) for a nonconference match up on the road this afternoon 64-55.
After a slow start in the first half trailing the Lions 27-17, the Wolves came out firing with 21 points to the Lions 17 points in the third quarter. The Wolves shot 100% from both the free throw and three-point line in the third quarter.
The Wolves had three players in the doubles with
Deshona Gaither scoring 14 points,
April Rummery-Lamb with 12 and both tagged a combined nine rebounds, behind them
Hannah Nimmo with 10 points.
Jess Tomkins collected eight points along with five rebounds.
The Lions would begin to pull away in the fourth quarter with a nine-point run to eventually take the game 64-55.
The Wolves bench outscored the Lions bench 19-9 this afternoon. Overall, the Wolves shot 9 for 11 from the free throw line.
